The proposed merger between Whole Foods and Wild Oats is back on the table. The Federal Trade Commission’s recent injunction to stop the merger under anti-monopoly laws was denied today, and the merger may take place as early as Monday, August 20. That is, if the FTC does not file a stay for an appeal by then. Stay tuned for more Whole Foods news Monday.
