Despite Newt Gingrich’s controversial assertions during the debate that the Palestinians are an invented people, he continues to climb in the polls. Seeking to separate himself from Gingrich’s claims, Mitt Romney said, “I’m not a bomb thrower. Rhetorically, or literally.” But maybe that’s what the GOP electorate wants.
